Clean hair is crucial. While the old saying tells us, “Dirty hair is better,” those days are behind us. The best way to arrive is with freshly washed and blow-dried hair, either from that morning or the night before.

Two: Make Sure Your Hair Is Dry

The key phrase above is blow-dried. We do not allot additional time for blow-drying on top of styling on the morning of your wedding. Please arrive with completely dry hair so we can dedicate your scheduled appointment time to creating your final look.

Three: Bring Inspiration Photos

Inspiration photos help us move smoothly through your appointment because they give us a much clearer understanding of the look you’re drawn to. Even the most thorough consultation can leave room for interpretation—a picture often communicates your vision better than words can.

Step four

Four: For Our Naturally Curly Girls

If you do not plan to wear your natural curls, please arrive with your hair already blown out. A blowout is considered an additional service and requires extra time that is not included in your scheduled styling appointment.

Step five

Five: Let Us Know About Extensions

Please let us know in advance if you have permanent extensions or plan to wear clip-in extensions. Either option may require additional styling time, so knowing beforehand helps us properly prepare and keep your wedding-day timeline running smoothly.

Six: Arrive with a Clean, Bare Face

That means no SPF, primer, brow gel, or residue from creams or oils used the night before. Your makeup artist will prep and prime your skin using products specifically selected for your wedding-day makeup.

Step seven

Seven: Wear Button-Up Pajamas

We recommend button-up pajamas, preferably silk or satin, for anyone receiving hair and makeup services. Silk and satin help reduce friction that can loosen your hairstyle, while a button-up top prevents you from having to pull clothing over your finished hair and makeup.
